Congratulations Grand River First Nation, on your wonderful game project! From tugboats to monorails to hard-hats and tools, what could be a more fun way to learn about construction careers than Breaking Ground? Not much 🙂

Breaking Ground is an Aboriginal Construction Career Awareness Tool designed to:

• increase awareness of career opportunity in the construction industry,
• improve access to construction careers, information and linkages to the construction industry, and
• create a call to action to members of the aboriginal community to explore careers in construction.

The tool will help individuals identify fun and possible construction careers, help them to find ways to establish a career in construction, and will stimulate the individual to actively seek a construction career.
